Professional watch case tool. Designed for watchmakers and home repair of mechanical, automatic and quartz watches.
Professional case-opening tool kit for watch case backs, snap-on and screw-down. Designed for watchmakers, hobbyists and authorised service centres working on Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Tissot, Longines and most Swiss / Japanese references.
This kit gathers in one box the essential tools to open, inspect, gasket and close a watch case. It combines a Jaxa-style screw-back opener, three sets of interchangeable hardened pins (round, square, dotted), a knife-style snap-on opener for press-fit backs, a case holder with rubber dies and a small precision tweezer to handle case-back gaskets, crown gaskets and crystal gaskets without damage. Whether you are replacing a Hytrel-reinforced gasket on a diver, an FKM/Viton O-ring on a chemical-prone case or a classic NBR ring on a Rolex Oyster, this kit covers the operations from start to pressure-test.
Use this kit for full service operations: case opening, movement removal, dial and hand handling, gasket inspection and replacement, case closing and pressure testing up to 10 ATM. It is also the right kit for vintage restoration and battery replacement on quartz movements.
European professional standard. Hardened steel pins, chrome-plated body, anti-magnetic tweezer, foam-padded plastic case. Stored properly the kit serves for thousands of operations.
Does it open Rolex Oyster cases? Yes, with the round-pin profile.
Is the gasket included? No, gaskets are ordered separately by exact diameter and thickness.
Does the kit include Moebius 8217? No, Moebius 8217 silicone grease is sold separately.
Beyond the immediate operation, this tool fits into a complete watchmaking workflow: it pairs with a digital caliper for measuring the case-back groove, with a stock of NBR, FKM/Viton, EPDM and Hytrel gaskets in calibrated thicknesses from 0.30 to 1.20 mm, and with Moebius 8217 silicone grease used by every Rolex, Omega and Seiko service centre worldwide. Used carefully, on softly padded surfaces, with the right pin set selected and the case holder firmly closed on the watch, it preserves the original Genevan polish of the case and avoids the famous "slipped tool" scratch that ruins an otherwise immaculate restoration. Maintenance is minimal: a drop of light oil on the lead screw thread every fifty operations, occasional cleaning of the gripper pins with isopropyl alcohol, and storage in the dust-protected case will keep it accurate for decades.
